Had a crappy start to the evening yesterday…all thanks to an idiot of a taxi driver who tried compensating with mere $1.70 for his utter stupidity. So I got the silent treatment…for a while. Then all was well.

300…was highlight for the evening. Heh…I simply love the signature frontal kick into the pit as King Leonidas hollered, "This is SPARTA!!". That’s somewhat close to my all-time fantasy of dealing with people who piss me off. It’s gonna stay as fantasy for now…can’t afford to get a record for battery. Not now, at least…

Peeps from the "rainforest" are gonna come over tomorrow evening. Can’t wait to see everyone again…and come to think of it, Munge and I were supposed to meet up today. Ah…I just need to get through the next three days! And pure bliss after that…I hope.

Tres exciting plans for the couple of months ahead…whee!

Well, the highly-anticipated event on the island was held last night à Cafe Del Mar. I guess we were like the cool crowd, dressing up to the theme (whatever it is, I’d love to think of it that way!). Pics are posted on the photos section!

Hey hey…I feel somewhat rejuvenated…and guilty at the same time. For spending on thingamajigs which are not even part of my projected budget for this month. Oh well…what’s new, right.

Let me tell you how the day started off. Meeting Munge at Paragon* for our appointment at 1.00pm, so flagged a cab to get there ‘cos I was running late (ooh, like a deja vu!).

There I was, in my lazy slouchy position in the backseat of the cab, as we were approaching the box junction at Paragon…when familiarity hit me in the form of a grey Corolla in front of my cab. So I was toying with the idea, "Hehe…maybe it’s Eagle". Sat up to have a better look, and I spotted that decal which I know oh-so-well…Friends of the Zoo! My neck craned further, and true enough…SF* **93A!! Flipped my phone open and dialled Munge and told her about it. As if being prompted, my cabbie decided to drive up next to her (Eagle’s) ride…yeap yeap, her alright.

Anyways, met up with Munge and we went on our way for our appointment. Had lunchie after that…hit M&S, and guess who we bumped into? None other than the one mentioned above…and yet again, for an extended period in Island Shop. Got that piece of news…all shell-shocked…and life moves on.

So let’s move on to my spree!

1) Pretty trinkets from Island Shop…I’m such a sucker for those.

2) A "classic" pair of shades. Hah, Munge…so much for "I don’t wanna go to GUESS *whine whine*". But I bloody love her top!

3) Almost splurged on an RL top, until we realised that British India’s holding an incredible sale! TWO of ‘em tops from BI for the price of one RL…woohoo! Mais I still love that RL…*sigh*. Ok, let’s proceed..

4) Devil Wears Prada DVD and …get this…The Sims 2 Seasons Expansion!! I’ve installed it last night, and checked out the cool clothes. Will probably spend the whole of next weekend playing…hee!

5) Adidas "doraemon" bag…well, basically the kind which you can just throw in elephant into the bag and still look good enough!

Alrighty, gonna have breakkie now…toodles!

When you’re low (or down and troubled), you should try your hand at some of these stuffs:

1) Let your hair down with some real cheesey songs (check out my "current music"!)

2) Throw out your old clothes

3) Delete those emails you’ve hanging on to for the longest time…for memory’s sake or I-might-just-need-that-in-the-future or whatever

4) Clean your abode and throw out tonnes of old things

5) Delete stuffs from your thumb drive

6) Settle for a nice light-hearted chick literature (I suggest "Wives of Bath" by Wendy Holden)

7) Listen to songs that make you reminisce the old times…and sing your heart out to the lyrics

Play a PC/X-Box/PS game and drown yourself in the other world killing minions (Diablo) or having a picture perfect family (The Sims 2)

9) Go for a nice run or explore a new environment…Labrador Park is cool!

10) RETAIL THERAPY!!!

Ermm…I think I’ll skip the other nine and plunge for number 10 for today. Hee!
