Current Music: Iris (The Goo Goo Dolls)

Just when you think you’ve had it bad, there’ll always be someone else who’s worse off than you. Takes me back to the time when Eagle made the comparison between us LJS and the rubber-faced one. Made us seem like spoilt brats next to her… :s well, I suppose the Eagle herself must’ve had it easy in her days, too!

Anyways, a happy national day to all Malaysians!

Current Music: Give It To Me (Timbaland feat. Nelly Furtado & JT)

Munge and I were on the topic of grammatical errors and incorrect usage of vocabulary a couple of nights ago.

Well, I’m not saying that we’re speaking perfect English ALL THE TIME…otherwise the lil’ game won’t be all that fun anymore! The Rule: try your best to spot incorrect usage of words or grammar. Though of course you can’t possibly play this game with just about everyone. Like the other time when an ex-colleague was working on a report and I was just standing behind her, correcting just about every other paragraph. She got uber pissed and told me to get lost…sheesh, don’t blame me for having developed that ability since I always ended up as the editor-in-chief (ooh laa laa….hahah!) when we did projects in school.

Anyways, we’re on a mission to "catch" this one good buddy to make a flaw in English ‘cos she’s just so darn perfect that she’s like a walking dictionary AND zoology encyclopedia, all rolled into one! Though I’ve managed to spot her ONCE when she said that my uncle’s lifestyle was decadent. When I asked what she meant by that, she said that it’s something like "lavish". Well well, Cambridge Dictionaries Online states the definition as low moral standards and behaviour. Either she really used the word wrongly (Syila scores!), or she really meant it when she saw that The Oh-So-Great-Uncle of mine is leading the life of the rich and famous with his 20-seater dining room, police guarding his home 24-7, personal government executive vehicle at his disposal PLUS his own Benz. After all, extravagance simply doesn’t sit well with her.

D’accord…c’est toutes ce matin!

What’s On Telly: Batu Belah Batu Bertangkup

The title above is a classic movie. Though there’re some irritants in the show. For instance, a mother who killed herself just because she had a craving for fish roe and her son ate up her share of the roe. Then there’s the bugger of a lil’ brother who’s just an annoying pustular vermin. I’d probably strangle him alive if I were Melor! LOL

Classic child stars are just so damn amazing…I still remember one whereby the kids in the show were abused by their stepmother (Nurmadiah)…looked damn real!

Yea-ha…beaching session’s coming up again real soon! Woohoo XD

All Geared Up For Lebaran!! :D

What’s On Telly: Stuck In The Suburbs on Disney

Retail therapy…woohoo!

Who would’ve thought…Mamsey and I managed to spend a bomb within less than an hour! I thought I was fantastic at doing that…Mama was twice as bad! Hee…see where I got my genes from *snickers*

Dsc04799_3Anyways, here’s a shot of me goofin’ around with my new dress for Hari Raya, attempting to pull off the Datin Puan Besar look or something…hahah! ;p

What’s On Telly: Amazon Claws on National Geographic

Yesterday was fulfilling! Spent the afternoon at the Zoooo…though I didn’t get to see the very majestic one that I was looking forward to seeing: Charlie. The beautiful exhibit was up, but I think Charlie was confined…probably ‘cos he hasn’t been very nice towards Sayang.

Sunbears have got a really nice cozy abode now, too, neighbours to the Orangs. About time, I suppose…wonder what’s coming up on the eastern side of the Zoo. Anyways, managed to get a great shot of the bear…check it out in Les Animals on my Shutterfly soon!

(National Geographic’s featuring the tamandua!! Hehe…reminds me of Mag’s Tamansatu)

It amazes me how on Earth, in the long line of evolution, tapirs managed to make it across the other part of the world and started a new sub-species. I mean the major ones are found in the Americas, yet there’s a Malayan sub-species found right here in Southeast Asia. Could it be possible for a bunch of them to swim all the way to Asia…or perhaps the continents were actually merged together 20mil years ago, judging from the geographical formation. I’m sure there’s a proven theory somewhere, but I’m just too plain lazy to do a research on that. Mammalian evolution never fails to thrill me, especially when I’m the one coming up with my own theories. Hee…perhaps I should be a zookeeper someday.

I finally got my Chawang shirt…woohoo! Well, it may be last season…but hey, it being last season is making it special ;) Love it, love it, love it! Kinda let down when I found out that they only had the bigger sizes in the Zoo outlet, but thank God for Night Safari XD Sigh…and they’ve run out of the nice silhouette motifs that I’ve got with a white rhino. Linda Tan and Millicent Bong are doing a fantastic job with the retail front…you might want to check the Zoo’s online store. Hint: Some of the shirts that they’ve got at the physical shops are way better!

Ok, gonna go meet the babes at Vivo City. Munge told me that the morning’s been crappy for her that she felt like standing in front of a bus and wait for it to knock her down. I told her to have me on the phone line should she feel that way again…so I can get her bank PIN. Muahahah….don’t we all celebrate life! Hee…
